Introduction of new sources into the business intelligence system and data warehouse of the public administration of Slovenia

The Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse system called Skrinja, owned and operated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has turned a new page in its development. Within the consortium of provider, Goras has signed a new overarching contract with the ministry for the implementation of new data sources from various government agencies into a shared analytics platform to support decision-making.

The Skrinja system serves as a horizontal service for users in the public administration. Currently, it already includes data on salaries of public sector employees, public procurement data, and shared system codings. As confirmed by the ministry, users can already interactively view and process real-time data with efficient visualizations, thus influencing long-term improvements in the utilization of existing personnel, better planning, and decision-making.

The next phase of implementation will involve the integration of administrative procedure data and numerous new data sources from various government agencies.
